The task

Self-set. A book about charts that have to persuade someone: which one to choose, and how to build it so the point lands. Written for everyone who makes charts, from students and people who build presentations to infographic specialists.

The result

A cult book on data visualisation in Russia, and by now the textbook for many thousands of people and companies. It is the first and only comprehensive textbook on the foundations and the details of the craft, a working guide for beginners and advanced readers alike. Rated 4.9 by readers. I wrote it, drew the illustrations, designed the book and did the PR myself. An English edition is in preparation.
